🛠️Salesforce Integration

We offer bi-directional syncs with Salesforce so that you can manage which leads go to which reps directly in Salesforce as well as what information should be pushed back from GlenX into your CRM.

Here are the steps for configuring the sync from Salesforce into GlenX

Step 1: Configuring within GlenX

The first step is to head over to admin.glenx.ai and click CRM Integrations through the gear icon on the top right.

Next, you want to follow the Salesforce connect flow to configure how you want GlenX to interact with your CRM.

Step 2: Inviting your team

Next, you're going to want to invite your team members into GlenX so that you can start assigning leads to them. The way to do this is by going to Team members

When you invite team members, make sure to select Uses dialer & emailer if you want to assign leads to them.

Uses dialer & emailer should be selected
Step 3: Adjusting your salesforce

The next thing you're going to want to do is set the Field-Level Security for the fields that we've created in your salesforce. Do this by going into Object Manager -> Contact -> Fields & Relationships

Click Set Field-Level Security

You will want to set the fields as visible. Next you will likely want to add some of the fields to your layouts.

You will want to repeat this process with Accounts and Leads. Note: we support people who want to stick with just Leads or who use Contacts and Accounts. If you don't use Leads, you can ignore all the setup related to Leads

Step 4: Assigning a Contact, Lead or Account to a GlenX user

There are 3 ways you can push a contact / lead into a GlenX user's pipeline:

  1. Contact Level: You can set the GlenX Owner Field on any contact. That will push that contact over to a user's piepline

  2. Account Level: You can set the GlenX Owner Field on any account. That will push all contacts in that account over to a user's pipeline

  3. Lead Level: You can set the GlenX Owner Field on any lead. That will create a contact and an account in the GlenX system and that contact and account will be assigned to a user's pipeline

After assigning, click the resync on the top right here to trigger a sync

Once the sync is done, you should see the contacts and accounts pulled here

The user should see a salesforce list when they click on their lists like so with the leads that you've assigned over to them

(Optional) Step 5: Change Field Mappings

By default, we use AI to map fields from your CRM to fields in our database. If you want to change any of those mappings, you can do so by pressing Edit on Pull Configurations.

Here, you can also add custom fields to map in from your CRM if they're useful for reps to have when working leads

Below are the steps for syncing from GlenX back into your CRM

Step 1: Configuring within GlenX

The first step is to head over to admin.glenx.ai and click CRM Integrations through the gear icon on the top right.

Next, you'll want to follow the steps for Push activity from GlenX

Step 2: Performing a test call

The next step is to make a call from one of the leads you imported above. After making the call, fill out a call disposition. You should then see the call show up as an activity like this:

Additionally, you should see summary information about the call in the contacts panel

And summary information in the accounts panel

If you use leads instead of contacts and accounts, all this information will be available on the leads object.
